New Travel Etiquette: Update on Our Mask-Wearing Policy

Previously, masks were generally optional outdoors but recommended indoors. However, as of March 13, 2023, the decision to wear a mask is left to individual discretion.

Under the “New Hokkaido Style Safety Declaration,” we have previously promoted and appreciated our passengers’ cooperation in wearing masks inside our vehicles.

In line with the government’s updated guidelines, starting March 13, we respect your individual choice, and wearing a mask will be entirely at each passenger’s discretion. We will ensure that no passenger feels pressured to either wear or remove a mask during their ride.

Please note that our drivers will continue to wear masks as a general rule.

To ensure the safety and peace of mind of all our guests, our current COVID-19 prevention measures will remain in place for the time being. We remain committed to providing a clean, hygienic, and comfortable space so you can travel with confidence.
