Terms of Service
These Terms of Service govern the conditions of use for transfer coordination, on-site operation management, and arrangement services (hereinafter referred to as the "Service") provided by mik TAXI Sapporo (hereinafter referred to as "the Business"). By booking or using our Service, clients and partners agree to be bound by these terms.
1. Nature of the Service and Scope of Operations
(1) The primary scope of services provided by the Business consists of on-site operation management, schedule coordination, multilingual communication support, flight monitoring, and incidental coordination services (hereinafter referred to as "Transfer Management Services") tailored for international visitors and VIP travelers.
(2) Transportation arrangement agency services (for hire cars, limousines, and taxis) provided by the Business are conducted pursuant to the Travel Agency Act under our registration as a Travel Service Arrangement Agency (Governor of Hokkaido Registration No. 124), upon entrustment by partner travel agencies.
(3) Requests from general corporate clients and non-travel entities are undertaken as entrustments of on-site operation management and transfer management services as defined in Section 1 (1). Actual vehicle operation and transportation are carried out either by the Business (mik TAXI Sapporo) or licensed passenger transport operators authorized under the Road Transportation Act. Operational safety governance and direct civil liability arising during transit shall be borne by the operating transportation entity that executed the transit.
2. Reservation and Contract Formation
An agreement between the client/partner and the Business is formed upon transmission of a "Booking Confirmation" by the Business in response to an application submitted via booking form, email, or telephone. We reserve the right to decline bookings due to extreme weather, road conditions, or vehicle availability.
3. Fees, Pricing, and Payment Terms
Fees are determined based on pre-agreed official quotations and rates (management fees, coordination costs, and arrangement charges). Actual out-of-pocket expenses such as expressway tolls, airport parking fees, and facility charges are payable by the client (via reimbursement) unless expressly stated as included in the selected package.
Payments are accepted via in-vehicle payment on the service date (cash, major credit cards, or compatible cashless payments) and bank transfer via invoice for authorized corporate partners.
4. Booking Changes and Cancellation Policy
Should you need to modify or cancel your booking due to client circumstances, please notify us immediately. Cancellation charges apply based on the timing of notification as follows:

* No cancellation fee will be incurred for cancellations caused by events beyond the client's reasonable control, including natural disasters, severe blizzards, typhoons, or extreme weather conditions (please notify us as soon as circumstances become known).
5. Limitation of Liability and Disclaimers
The Business shall not be held liable for delays, rerouting, or cancellations resulting from force majeure circumstances beyond our direct control—including severe winter blizzards, road icing, major traffic congestion, road closures, flight disruptions, or acts of nature—nor for any secondary or consequential damages arising therefrom, unless caused by intentional misconduct or gross negligence directly attributable to the Business.
